Professor Chang Li-Ching, CEO of the Foundation, specifically called for Taiwan to continue learning from the legal experiences of Japan and Germany when establishing its future remote healthcare legal framework and promoting related policies.

For instance, in Japan, in addition to strengthening cybersecurity supervision for remote healthcare, the country is promoting innovative service models such as remote medication guidance to meet the needs of an aging society.

Meanwhile, Germany emphasizes that the implementation of guidelines related to remote healthcare should be carried out by professional medical associations. To protect patient rights, Germany places great importance on the physician's duty to inform and explain the procedure to the patient.

The conference concluded successfully amidst enthusiastic exchange and discussion among the participating scholars and experts.

It is hoped that through this conference, Taiwan's industry, government, and academia will jointly and continuously focus on crucial issues and the policy direction of the legal frameworks governing remote healthcare and long-term care in the future.
