Our country faces the significant societal challenges of rapid aging and a declining birthrate, the primary impact of which on families and society is the 'long-term care problem.' Telemedicine and smart healthcare services will be a crucial driving force for long-term care services.
While actively promoting the cultivation of long-term care professionals, our nation must also focus on the development and application of digital methods such as telemedicine and health monitoring, gradually expanding their reach into the long-term care sector. These technologies will inevitably help reduce the labor costs and manpower demands of long-term care while simultaneously enhancing care efficiency.
This seminar, through separate sessions focusing on 'Current Status and Review of Long-Term Care Medical Regulations' and 'Current Status and Review of Telemedicine Regulations,' aims to conduct in-depth research and discussion on the aforementioned issues. We hope to 'cast a brick to attract jade' (a Chinese idiom meaning to offer a humble opinion to encourage others to provide better ones) and spark widespread attention and research on this important topic from all sectors.
